How do I create a Google account on my Android tablet?

Some of the google apps on your Android tablet will ask you to log into your Google Account to use them. If you do not have a Google Account you can create a Google Account by following the steps below:

    Unlock your tablet.
    Tap on the Play Store Icon.
    You will be advised to add a Google Account to the device to continue. Tap Yes to continue.
    Tap on Create account.
    Create your account by entering an Email name and fill in your First name and Last name.
    Tap on Next.
    Create a password in the Enter a password field.

    Note Minimum of 8 characters are required when creating a password.

    Retype your password in the Confirm password field.
    Tap Next to continue.
    Next you will have to select a Security question. Type your Answer and then the Recovery Address for recovering your password.
    Tap Next to continue.
    Tap I agree, Next to accept the Google Terms of Service.
    Before the account is created, type the word displayed in the text field, then tap Next.
    Tap Done once you are ready.

    Note At this point you can tap on the box to enable or disable the option to keep your device backed up on your Google Account.
